Mortgage & Protection

We know that mortgages can be complicated enough at the best of times. This is why we’ve made our fees as simple as possible for our clients.

Our charge for mortgage services is £400, payable when you apply for the mortgage.

Our fees

Example based on a £150,000 mortgage application
Description
Commission from lender (based on 0.35% of mortgage balance)
Standard Advice Fee (charged directly to you)
TOTAL Fee (commission + standard advice fee)
Value
£525
£400
£925

We may receive commission from the mortgage lender, which will be disclosed on the Key Facts Illustration (KFI) or European Standardised Information Sheet (ESIS) you will receive in relation to your recommended mortgage. If the sum of the commission from the lender + advice fee amounts to £650 or more, no additional fees will be charged to you. However, if the sum of these figures amounts to less than £650, we will charge a higher advice fee to make up the difference. For example, if the commission from the lender came to £150, we would charge an advice fee of £500, payable directly by you. Please see the table for an example of our charges.

Protection planning

Our advised protection planning services are suitable if you are looking for the best way to protect you, your family or your business through products such as critical illness cover, health insurance and life cover. We advise on non-investment protection products, including term assurance, income protection and critical illness from a range of insurers.

We offer products from a range of insurers for life cover, critical illness cover and income protection.

Payment method

No fee is charged directly to you for our protection advice. We will receive a commission from the provider, which will be disclosed on the illustration you will receive in relation to your recommended product.
